Johnson Creek Band

The band was formed in 1885 with Herbert Hungerford, as director.

The first public appearance was at a church picnic in Concord.

Band members: Emil Giese, Joe Shekey, Herbert Griffey, Peter Soldahl, Frank Fredricks, Shep Swap, Fred Mansfield, Henry Grell, Herbert Hungerford, Ferdinand Auer and Charles Banker.
